NHP April Yard Sign Hunt 🐣

We always proudly display a yard sign outside of homes that we paint. If you see this sign, you know this house is in good hands! Keep an eye out for our signs all over CT!

If you see one of our yard signs out during the month of April, DM a picture to @newhavenpainters and we'll feature you on our Instagram story!

Dad Joke of the Month

"If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?"

"Pilgrims!"

Earth Day is April 22nd

New Haven Painters is proudly certified by the Environmental Protection Agency. This means we are knowledgeable about the laws & regulations surrounding the use & handling of substances which may be harmful to the Earth's ozone. We are always mindful of how the products we use affect the environment. We work with sustainable brands like Sherwin Williams which implement recycling programs to help decrease waste, including recycling wooden pallets, corrugated cardboard, shrink wrap & cans.

Here are some steps you can take in your every day life to give back to the Earth:

  1. Keep a Laundry Basket in your Car for Groceries - While reusable shopping bags can be a great way to sustainably shop for groceries, they can be easy to leave at home. Keeping a laundry basket in your car can help you easily carry groceries from your car to your kitchen without having to remember bags or create plastic waste.

  2. Schedule a Beach Cleanup with Friends - Get some friends together and spend a few hours picking up trash on your local beach. It's a great way to get outside, spend time with friends, and help the environment!

  3. Compost - When it comes to organic waste like fruits and vegetables, skip the trash can which goes directly to landfills. Instead, dedicate a compost bin in your backyard. In a few months, you'll have nutrient rich soil for your garden!
